THERMADOR Error Code E4
Professional Ranges Models: PDR30/36/48…PRG30/36/48
ERROR CODE | DESCRIPTION | RESOLUTION |
CODE E4 | Turns heat off on failed oven only, micro not affected. Can be cancelled by tweaking if a good oven temperature sensor is detected. | Shorted oven temperature sensor (under 500 ohms) |
The control continuously checks system specifications for control and oven failings as well as reports a fault code when a system problem is spotted. The control uses the ovens blue “on light” as well as oven “home heating light” to report an identified mistake code. The control will certainly continue to blink the lights in the suitable series as long as the mistake exists.
Discovery of a fault does not hinder the ability of the control to remain to function if the mistake is not vital for the desired operation. For example: If the range door latch is defective, the array will certainly remain to prepare since the mistake would only stop the variety from self-cleaning.
HOW TO ANALYZE CODES
When a fault occurs, the control will certainly flash heaven stove “on light” and also the Blue “home heating light” sequentially to show the mistake. The mistake codes have two numbers, these numbers are analyzed by the number of times the lights blink. The stove “on light” will flash indicating the initial number, and also the “home heating light” will blink showing the second number.
INSTANCE:
Error E9 is … No Air conditioning Followers. The code is 43. The stove “on light” will certainly blink 4 times, then the “heating light” will certainly blink three times, after that time out. The series will certainly then repeat as long as the fault is present.
