ERROR CODE | DESCRIPTION | RESOLUTION |
CODE E12 | Turn the clock selector knob to Off Adjust the oven control by turning the clock selector knob slightly to the left (counter clockwise). This may stop the flashing message/beeping and clear the display window. | CT oven; latch switch problem |
The control continuously checks system criteria for control as well as oven failures and also reports a fault code when a system trouble is detected. The control utilizes the ovens blue “on light” and oven “home heating light” to report a detected fault code. The control will continue to flash the lights in the ideal series as long as the mistake exists.
Discovery of a mistake does not prevent the capability of the control to remain to function if the fault is not essential for the designated operation. As an example: If the variety door lock is faulty, the variety will certainly continue to cook given that the mistake would just protect against the range from self-cleaning.
HOW TO TRANSLATE CODES
When a mistake happens, the control will certainly flash the blue oven “on light” and also the Blue “heating light” sequentially to suggest the mistake. The fault codes have 2 numbers, these numbers are translated by the variety of times the lights flash. The oven “on light” will certainly blink showing the initial number, and the “home heating light” will blink suggesting the 2nd number.
EXAMPLE:
Error E9 is … No Cooling Followers. The code is 43. The oven “on light” will certainly blink four times, then the “heating light” will flash three times, after that time out. The series will certainly then duplicate as long as the fault is present.
